That’d be “wins” with an S … as in three … as in swept the series … and if they’re so bad, remember that your pale hose just lost three in a row to the good guys because they clobbered your pitching staff. While you’re on your trip down memory lane, remember which team was the only one from Chicago to go to the playoffs since 05.

I’m just imagining the sweet sounds of hearts breaking in Naperville and Schaumburg, and Iowa, and Joliet and all the places where the life long Cubs fans can be found when the curse returns.
