A Daily Kos diarist sent this after receiving it himself. He replied with a detailed point-by-point rebuttal.
I’ll simply say that if you were to head to the Snopes.com Obama entry about all the conservatives’ lies about Sen. Obama being infopimped in chain emails (like the one below) and even spread through websites, blogs, newspapers, radio and TV …. well, that Snopes.com entry about Sen. Obama debunks Every. Single. One. of the conservatives’ lies found below.
(Again, why do conservatives tell people they can look something up to “verify” when they know full well if they do look it up the truth debunks their lies?!? Dick Cheney did this in one of the 2004 debates — he told us we could “look it up” and when we did, we found out he had lied. Duh.)

We checked this out on ‘snopes.com‘. It is factual [umm, no this original conservative email is not "factual"]. Check for yourself [please do check it out -- you'll see the conservatives have unfortunately chosen to lie through their teeth].
Who is Barack Obama?
Probable U. S. presidential candidate [ACTUALLY: He is a candidate, not a probable candidate. How old is this full-of-lies chain mail?], Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel [wait... his dad was... "black"?!?! ooohh, scary], Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from Wichita, Kansas [ooohh, scary: Beavis here said "atheist" as if in America you aren't free to practice any religion you choose ... or even no religion at all].
Obama’s parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim [ummm, liar: NOT "radical"... not even a strongly practicing Muslim] from Indonesia.
When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocate to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta [it was actually just a public school... in a Muslim country]. He also spent two years in a Catholic school [wow, something true].
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim [maybe that's, oh, BECAUSE HE'S NOT Muslim so there's nothing to "conceal"]. He is quick to point out that, ‘He was once a Muslim [he's never "pointed that out" because it's not true], but that he also attended Catholic school.’
Obama’s political handlers are attempting to make it appear that that he is not a radical [Huh? Is this supposed to somehow mean that Christian Democrats are considered "radical"?].
Obama’s introduction to Islam came via his father, [Dude, his parents divorced when he was 2 -- what kind of "introduction" is this email talking about?! Wait. Don't tell me. The fake kind that they're lying about] and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son’s education. Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. [This particular lie has been debunked so many times -- including by CNN -- it's ridiculous that some people even still buy into the baloney. Notice how earlier the fallacy-based email stated it was simply a "MUSLIM" school. Now that's changed. Again, it was just a regular public grade school ... nothing "Wahabi" or even "Wasabi" about it ... not even anything "Wookie". Can't they come up with better lies?]
Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world [this much is true, though it has nothing to do with public grade schools]. Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ [actually, he joined the church decades ago when his wife convinced him to attend church with her... he began going to church and joined the congregation long before he ever even ran for the Illinois State Senate] in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background [because there is no "Muslim background"]. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible [nope, he did use a Bible -- there's even pictures of it], but instead the Koran [another lie, he used the Bible ya lyin' liar... by the way, Thomas Jefferson -- 3rd president of the United States, the guy on the nickel and Mt. Rushmore -- had a Koran in his family ... scary, eh?].
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance [where'd they pull that bit of baloney out of? again, he does recite the Pledge... there are pictures and even video of him doing so] nor will he show any reverence for our flag [you besides singing the National Anthem with all the reverence an honest patriot can muster?]. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches [you mean he DOESN'T MOON THE FLAG -- c'mon, if you're going to lie like a dog then at least make it interesting!].
Let us all remain alert concerning Obama’s expected presidential candidacy [again... it's not an "expected" candidacy -- the guy won Iowa and came in a close second in New Hampshire].
The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level – through the President of the United States, one of their own!!!! [Does this mean that since Pres. Bush let Osama bin Laden escape into the mountains of Pakistan that bin Laden is now running for president?! E gad.]
Please forward to everyone you know [actually, please stop this insanity and give whoever might send this to you a good tongue-lashing and a hefty dose of reality]. Would you want this man leading our country?…… NOT ME!!! [Dude, I sincerely hope you don't even have the right to vote in this country. I fear for your sanity.]

The vetting process has finally begun on O’bama. Thank you for publishing the email. What was only “Pondered” before is now found to be true. O’Bama’s culture is indeed Muslim. That in and of itself is very scary. But is even more scary when one considers the depth of liberal slime the Dems will go to usurp American Culture.
So now the Dems have a Slimy candidate in Hillary. Look at her campaign contributions (Hsu, PACS, etc) and a person incapable of telling the truth of the moment for more than 5 seconds at a time (depending on which audience is present. But now, this board and its editor have confirmed the truth about Obama…….Born to a Muslim, taught by Muslims……The culture of Muslim…..this is truly sick…..

For one thing, the email has been around for some time. It’s picked up steam in recent weeks — along with the multiple (and increasingly frequent) disinformation being propagated about Sen. Obama’s church and faith across multiple conservative media.

It doesn’t sound much different from the whisper campaign last election that John McCain had fathered a baby on a black woman. While most of you are in-fighting about O’bama’s heritage or Hillary’s past, the fact remains that the top candidates the Democrat party can nominate for this election are two first term senators. The level of expertise they can bring to the table on most issues domestic and international will be limited in scope. Therefore, should one of them be elected President, we must scrutinize very closely those people of greater experience with whom these two candidates decide to surround themselves. A few people who have dropped out of the race could help make the lives of the Americans more manageable going forward. One prime example would be Bill Richardson. He held a most important cabinet position during the Clinton administration and now serves as governor of a border state stretched to its financial limits because of illegal immigration. Another example would be Mitt Romney. Universal health care, historically, has been a platform of the Democrat party. Republican Romney, however, created a market-driven system for the people of Massachusetts while he was governor. Neither party, in my humble opinion, could afford not to tap the talents of these two individuals. Superior talent on both sides of the aisle exists. Partisanship, unfortunately, keeps much of that talent idle for too many years.

I pointed out the radical right-winger lies about Obama.
To your point, I suggest listening to Sen. Obama’s discussion on your very points. It is the partisanship eminating from Washington’s hyperpartisan mixing bowl which is causing it to be a place “where good ideas go to die.”
PS: It’s not his “heritage” if it’s based on lies…
And Romney was never on board with the Massachusetts health plan. The legislature passed it over his objections. Not that this wee li’l fact has stopped him from claiming ownership, not in the least.

…Sen. McCain also “wants to open the borders” if that’s what you want to call putting together a common sense immigration policy rather than the hard-line John Birch types’ current plan which can best be described as a racist and dim-witted attempt to throw money at a wall that any old ladder will still subvert.
And, guess what, there’re plenty of American citizens who need decent jobs but, because of families and other situations, aren’t able to just pick up and move into a squalid trailer camp to work on seasonal manual labor that pays barely minimum wage with no benefits.
I’m not sure what money you think Sen. Obama wants to “take from the rich and give to the poor”. His tax plan is based on tax cuts for families which need them and the rest reverts to Clinton’s base level. Scary! Eek! Horrors! (Oh, wait. Halloween’s over.)
I don’t know about you, but my wife and I were faring quite a bit better under Clinton’s policies than under the conservatives’ current lopsided give-windfalls-to-the-wealthy policies.
Obama said a while ago, when the Republicans in Congress were throwing their drilldrilldrill temper tantrum, that we should open up off-shore drilling as a bridge til we can get to alternative, future energy platforms. It’s not the only thin he wants to do, which may be the source of your confusion.
Are you not paying attention to the news?
And, no, nobody but the most scared and frightened, peein’ their pants they’re so desperate partisan conservatives think Obama’s a commie pinko.
