Illinois Review whines about their fake “war” on Christmas in order to beat their partisan drums…
Of note:
- They didn’t bother complaining about Republican Cong. Tim Johnson on this vote
- They didn’t bother to tell folks Rep. Schakowsky is Jewish and doesn’t celebrate Christmas
- And they’ve completely ignored Pres. Bush’s role in propogating the real war on Christmas (and Christians)…..

c'mon, really
Really, c’mon.
I really claim no affiliation one way or the other, but it’s getting pathetic to keep writing about what goes on, on someone elses blog.
You seem smart and articulate. Write your own articles, share with us your own topics and stop constantly writing responses to what other blogs posts.
Be originial.

Aw shucks ‘Really’… why’re you reading the blog then? Seems to me it’s more pathetic that you read stuff you don’t like and offer nothing but an ad hominem in response. If you care to explain why GOP Rep. Johnson was given a pass by Ill Review while Dem Rep. Schakowsky was not I’m all ears.
Or are you really just upset because someone’s taking the time to call out Rightwingatopia on their silly, blind partisanship?
As Yoda would say, change the channel if like it you do not. I’ll keep exercising my 1st Amendment right to point out the truth regardless.

Government schools do not always turn out the best and brightest.

Carl, the same can be said of any school. The difference is public schools serve the public and have to accept everyone, regardless of skill or aptitude. Private schools often have a choice in who to accept or reject.
That said, what does your put-down of schools have to do with the Illinois Review’s rant against a Jewish Congresswoman?

Public Schools serve the public?
HA!
I been recently at a Christmas Party with a bunch of teachers in 214 that could differ with you on that statement.
Government schools are there for government. With all of the rules and regulations placed on them, they just follow the decrees.

Carl, How far OT do you want to go? Perhaps you need your own wee lil blog.
As for rules and regs, rules also apply to private schools, charter schools, and even homeschooling. It’s called law and order, as opposed to mayhem and anarchy.
