Yes, but I can't reveal my source. It had been suspected by many for a long time, but something else came to light.

Speaking of hypocrisy at the Illinois Review, note the way the holier than thou rightwing misleads even its own people.

Have you ever seen "articles" written by "Tyler Jones" or "John Ruskin" on Illinois Review? Those people don't exist. Both are actually Curt Mercadante. Trust me on this, everyone with half a brain knows it.

Mercadante got busted as "Tyler Jones". Now he's "John Ruskin" again. Obviously conservatives think their fellow conservatives are fools.

And note that the worst venom is always reserved for another Republican, Liz Gorman, the Cook County GOP Chair. She's even a conservative. But IR is constantly throwing bombs her way in reckless fashion.

Mercadante also works for Tony Peraica, who has a truly unhealthy hatred for Gorman. Mercadante is also an advertiser on IR, because he's running for some county post in another county.

So appearently if you advertise on IR you get to viciously attack other conservatives while not being honest with the readers in the process. This is what passes for "conservative values" these days. Nice.
